Alas,
sophomore year has come to an end. With all of the soul eating stresses of finals week being over, I now feel like I can just sit and relax, and, oh, what a beautiful, beautiful thought that is!
It's as though my eyes have been opened to a whole other side of life. Reading is now a pleasure, each turn of the page striking curiosity as to what is coming next rather than for the reason being to
merely finish the book for yet another
awful assignment. Closing my eyes at night, having those sweet, "sugar plum" dreams, and waking up with a smile, ready to take on the great adventures of
SUMMER 2009!

I couldn't tell you for sure what all of these adventures will entail, but they will likely be filled with 110% of that amazing
spontaneous spontinuity that comes with being around those I get to call my friends. Though school has only been out for a couple of days, some of these adventures have already come to pass! I got to take a trip out to the Grand Lodge in Forest Grove to go
frisbee golfing, where I didn't do too shabby, if I do say so myself:) But I did get hit in the leg by another malicious player, and I now have a nice little bruise.
I also went and played some baseball at Jackson Elementary, where I was reminded of why I
don't play many sports other than lacrosse. Just watch the video and you'll see how incredibly athletically challenged almost all of us were:)
Along with the fun I plan to have, I am looking forward to accomplishing many goals this summer. I plan on making my very first quilt, reading plenty of books, keeping a garden, plentiful of fruits,
vegetables, and flowers, going running for
XC, working to earn myself some
mula, finally getting my license, and learning how to decorate cakes with my mom!
As you can see, none of these include my sister, Elizabeth, as she will be leaving us all to live in Montana for the summer. Honestly, I have no idea what I will do. The dreams that I had to drive
recklessly around town with windows down, and music blaring, have been ruined, shattered to pieces, all thanks to that little twerp of a girl. I will definitely miss her!
So since Lizzy has helped me to make a cute new page, I plan on logging in more often and keeping you all informed of all of the fun I have as it comes! For now, it's
au revoir!
